This is a mint green color I absolutely love!
I made a mint blue color earlier this year and wore it for a portion of my summer. This mint green screamed winter fleece and holiday parties. My mother must think she is the empress of nail colors. She saw the color and immediately told me to take the "summer color" off of my nails.
-_-
What do you consider winter colors?
I consider dark colors like plum, navy blue, black and deep red
as well as light colors like cream, nude, mint green and even silver/gold.
So before dabbing some nail polish remover on a specific "seasonal color" you fell in love with, broaden your spectrum of colors/tints and tones and "MAKE IT WORK"

I love lashes, individuals and strips but recently I have been indulging in the length of my own lashes, especially since my overgrown annoyance with the application of individuals. Here is my before and after look of using Voluminous False Lashes
I love my lashes! The intensity of the black in the mascara makes my brown eyes really POP.

Two of my Favorite guys

Pharell X Adam Levine

My goals in life steady move me to another step in on the ladder to success.
In recent times however, there are not a lot of inspiring things in our generation to motivate even the mind with the most potential.
Yeah, everyone and their momma are "Ambitious" and #risengrind everyday but what truly ambitious looks like are young individuals like M.K. Asante Jr.
"If you make an observation you have an obligation."
I couldn't find the exact interview that ultimately changed my life (on a local channel here in GA) for the better but doing some light research on him just might make you regain focus and truly understand what this thing called life actually means.
Not the video where I became obsessed, just a little something for you to get familiar with.

He is a author, filmmaker, professor... Click Here to learn more about him
And his award-winning documentary "The Motherland"

Cuffin'

I used to be the chick with many bracelets, never matching yet always coordinating, a good three to make the ensemble go round. I reached college and fell in love with the bracelet-watch coordination then finally I landed on the statement cuff. Two years ago I would have paired it with another bracelet to set it off but I've learned to incorporate the cuff as a statement of it's own. Screaming class and stylish aromas all around.

I liked the video! Haven't been waiting on it to be released but it was a pleasant surprise by Wale and one of my favorite ANTM's, Bre. BTW... Are his dreads growing?

I Don't Know what all the HYPE is about

You aren't the first/last person to try and hurt me with words.
Sticks and stones.

Some old blog headers.
I went through (and am still going through) phases of my life
and my headers are a direct reflection of the posts on my blog, my outlook and what type of mood I'm in for that time period. I love headers for blogs instead of regular fonts. They are a little more personal and stylish.

Untamed and Destructive

Guys have more control over females then they think.
And not always over the ones they want the most but the ones that want them.
Desperately.
Then emotions start to get involved
And Lord knows what goes down when female emotions are involved.
Jealousy
Rage
Anger
Hostility
Outrage
Bitter
Salty
Disgust
Just too much.
Me, being a relatively drama free person despises all of the unnecessary production
The extra emotions no one asked for
The surplus of estrogen left over and running wild like split ends.
I tend to back out of situations I am no longer comfortable in and see no point in even wasting another molecule of breath
But things are never that simple
Sticky and tend to leave mud footprints looping in sloppy circles
But messing with my aura is like messing with my emotions
And then the beast arrives
No guy can tame.

Cool day
Warm sweater
Nice watch
All smiles...
Mostly

Even in high school when girls were beginning to wear heels to the club and stumble into interviews in some never-wear-again pumps I was strutting all over my stomping ground in 4 inches or higher. It was more so because my mother wouldn't buy me Jordans like everyone else in New York was wearing and I was not wearing some cheap flats she brought from Payless. It helped that I was always in some type of fashion show and was labeled the girl that dressed "weird". Now dressing "weird" is in and I'm like wah?

But flats for me have never changed. Mostly because I never find ones stylish enough. I skipped across some leopard Steve Madden ones a couple of years back but those are gone with the wind. The ones pictured above though? I'd do some damage...
