Poem X Blissful Remedy

Hold me tight
Hold me right
From the stars until the blissful sunrise
A surprise that can not be denied
Feel the everlasting love
That glows within my body
Feel my touch
Feel my pulse blush
Only for me to see
For you to know
If this bliss we have can last
Im strapped in for the permanent cast
If its a roller coaster
Sending me loads of far away posters
Ill hang every one on my wall
I feel steamy inside
As on my cocoa skin goosebumps arise
Everyday I pray for a new sunrise
My eyes comply
The view, oh so sweet
Memories made on repeat
A compromise never denied
My love will always supply.

Iggy Azalea X Nicki Minaj X Jhene Aiko X New Music Videos

Iggy Azalea is back with the newest of four singles off of her new album entitled "The New Classic". I love the Clueless theme of the video and appreciate Iggy's flow as a rapper. She raps about what she knows so this collaboration with Charli XCX is clever, stylish and fun. Watch below!

The next video I put up mostly for visuals. Nicki Minaj is beautiful and the toning down of the pink wigs and crazy costumes has me focusing on more of her as a rapper. It's a plus that what she is rapping of events that I have personally experienced. Especially these "ballers" in the club. Always looking.

If you didn't know Jhene Aiko is the female vision of Drake. She gives you the soothing feel with a mixture of real feelings and creative descriptions. I've been listening to her music for a couple of years and I've played this song all the way out. I like the original concept for the video and of course my love for Childish Gambino is real. I don't care, I don't care what you say! This collaboration is amazing. Sail out and enjoy this video!

Givenchy X Erykah Badu X Spring 2014

Erykah Badu is one of my favorite artist, visually, vocally and physically. She embodies originality and never being afraid to push the limits of society and the music industry. She has teamed up with Givenchy for their Spring 2014 line.

The shirt above I need to have in my life immediately! Between Erykah's' influence on fashion and her neo-soul music their is no surprise creative Director Riccardo Tisci wanted to embody her in their Africa-meets-Japan inspired collection.

The French line has pushed the envelop featuring a transgender model, an albino model and chic mother-daughter duos. Tisci believes their needs to be more diversity and embracing of different cultures and ethnicities even on the runway.

Work, Ms. Badu (if ya nasty)!

Personal X Reflection X Move

Sometimes we get so caught up in what is happening right now,
We forget what we have been through or better yet where we are headed.
There will always be a problem, always something taking our attention off of that next move.
I should know, it seems my biggest failures are when I forget the bigger picture.
Weeks pasts and I'm like, uhhhh what did I do but dwell in that mountain of a mole hill?
This life is all about a brighter future, building an empire.
There will be a brighter day if you look up for it.
If not you'll be stuck, looking on the shaded ground for rusted pennies only to trick and trip yourself into limiting yourself.
It's already February of 2014 and I'm trying to get somewhere so profound this year.
It's my time.
Something is feeding it into my soul however, getting sidetracked and distracted only takes away that oh so precious time.
It's time.
Move.

Beyonce X Flawless X Chinmamanda X Music Video

Beyonce does it right everytime.
I know one half of spectators are obsessed with Beyonce's album while the other half hates her guts in general (Illuminati this, overrated, blah, blah.).
Listening to her album with a neutral listening palette I have considered "Flawless" as one of my favorite songs. Specifically the part in the song about women empowerment. Not only does it spell out Beyonce feeling slightly disrespected in the industry and being wonderfully and beautiful made like everyone else is but the assumed roles women are supposed to play in modern day society.

Antonio Berardi X Fall 14

Antonio Berardi

Fell in love, thought I'd share some of his Fall 2014 collection. Enjoy.

Berardi is known for his "sensual, figure-hugging dresses" and a "striking, classical, dressed-up" style featuring "advanced fabrics and manufacturing techniques."[1] He has named music, independent film, post-modern art, Catholic symbolism, Italian art and culture, urban street style, lingerie, and the female form as his design influences.

Golden Fashion Goddesses

Girl Crush

The past two weeks have been Tika Sumpter on fire, ohh and Lupita... we will get to that. I love both of these beautiful brown skin goddesses.

Just finding out Tika is from my hometown of Queens and has been in the business forever! She has looks and personality. I love. Check out some fashionable looks of Tika Sumpter.

My other favorite is actress and Yale alumni Lupita Nyong'o. Budding, fresh and effortless style.
She was born in Mexico and is of Kenyan descent. The pictures say the rest...

Bound 2 and 3 Official Video X Necole Bitchie The Breakfast Club

If you haven't seen it by now, here is Kanye West's newest video to Bound 2, a song I love!
I originally saw this video on the Ellen show and was shocked by the vulgarity of it but then again Nicki's boobies were all over the show a couple of months ago...

Then I watched comedians crack on Kanye's video possibly being considered as Kim's second sex tape.
Hmmmm.... you choose.
I kill for the face shots in the video though.

Bound 3: James Franco and  Seth Rogan spoof.

Kanye West sits down with 105.1 a popular radio show, The Breakfast Club and Charlamagne serves Kanye his piece.

Watch this video as Charlamagne gives it all hes got and Kanye rants about being like Steve Jobs, working for the industry and Bound 2 video being a big joke.

I love Charlamagne's realness .
How do you feel about Kanye's interview?

Also...

Necole Bitchie chats with 105.1 morning show, The Breakfast Club.

*Gives her take on blogging, keeping it real and balancing her life today.

One of my favorite bloggers and inspirations Necole Bitchie did an interview with one of my favorite radio shows that I have been listening to since I lived in NYC. (Check out Peter Gunz of LHHNY interview with The Breakfast Club here.) The Breakfast Club includes radio personalities Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy of 105.1
Necole Bitchie's in dept interview elaborates on her rise to success, starting from the bottom and the life of journalist/bloggers today.
