NGD X 1 Yr Online Anniversary

Nik_Gold Designs has been in business for almost 4 years and selling online has helped tremendously. Not only can you custom order but purchase one of a kind pieces online. The anniversary marks my growth and the potential to make this full time, the anniversary is just in time because most of my previous items are sold out. Accessorizing celebrities video and photo shoots, hosting fashion events and premiering my line at an annual BE Magazine fashion show has only fueled me to do more and bigger. There are levels to this but there are no limits for me.

 This year I've worked more with clothes, hand sewn and custom, I grew a deeper passion for making things from scratch just seeing a vision become reality, it's therapeutic. I have more eye catching handmade jewelry and accessories and I love making  extraordinary pieces for guys as well. I will be releasing some special pieces for the rest of the summer and it feels wonderful to have the support system I have. Emails, meetings and phone calls "What's next?", or "Can you create...?" or "I need to shoot with your line" fuels me everyday. "Last week, BE Entertained Magazine hosted their 2nd annual #BEpampered luxury pamper suite in Atlanta, and singers Dondria (So So Def), LaTavia RoBErson(formerly of Destiny’s Child), Meelah Williams (formerly of 702), Vina Mills, &Kahdijiha Rowe (Big Rich Atlanta) came out to get a taste of the good life. The event was hosted by Tocarra Hamilton, who not only took the time out to#BEpampered, but also wowed the crowd with an impromptu performance as they received pampering services from some of Atlanta’s most talented BEauty entities.

BE Magazine & our amazing sponsors including Quente’Sential Branding, Urban Vines Wine, The Social Circle, Cutting Edge BarBEr & BEauty Institute, Jaxon’s Pastries, & Colour U Cosmetics really rolled out the punches for the ladies, providing them with the ultimate VIP experience including hair service, makeup makeovers, unique massages by our special male models, wile sipping on wine & nibbling on sweet desserts. The evening was highlighted by a BEst heel contest, where the winner took home a hat and shirt from our vendor ATLwood, and a raffle where the winner took home a prize pack including a few items from Colour U Cosmetics, a bottle of Urban Vines, & a gel mani/pedi courtesy of Tu La 2 Nail Salon courtesy ofSharlinda & Brie Rowe & celebrity Manicurist Terrance Terry. Kahdijiha Rowe & BE Magazine also announced an upcoming shoe giveaway from her shoetiquePlatform Addicts.

BE Magazine Holiday Special X Nik_Gold Journalist

            
         I love to write for BE magazine! I've been writing essays and stories since I could remember and have been a published journalist since high school. Combining my love for all things fashion and my passion for journalism I am still thanking God for  more experience and the opportunity to write a interview article on Mimi Faust. 

          The Love and Hip Hop Atlanta cast member I also accessorized in Nik_Gold Accessories for the @BEmagazine benefit fashion show this past November (Read that post HERE). Meeting her and talking to her gave me insight on the down to earth and entrepreneur she really is, while forming an article on her recent success and appeal to her fans was a pleasure and true motivation. I love networking and meeting different people with strong goals and morals.

BE Magazine X Fashion Show X NGD Line Premiere Success

The highly anticipated @Bemagazine @nwhTROIS benefit fashion show for @40girls1 hosted by Love and Hip Hop's own @MimiFaust went off flawlessly this weekend!

I was beyond ecstatic as I have been planning the special night for weeks and nothing was going to stand in my way!

To top it off my best friends and true supporters @Livin_w0rth and @Aehtelayt  came from South Carolina to support and the musically inclined and always a joy to see @DimitriMcDowell

I was able to accessorize the lovely MiMi and celebrity DJ/radio personality @TraciSteele !!!

 "The evening BEgan with a VIP reception which presented 2 up & coming designers Nik Gold Designs by Nicole Ayilola & Remmarc Zelyts by Dwight Holt Jr. Guests enjoyed unlimited Cool Breeze cocktails by FOU-DRE Vodka, and were entertained by Grammy Award Nominee Torica & her live band The Perfect Mistakes."

Styling X Profiling X NGD

These are Part 1 and Part 2 where I am going for a spunky denim/camo feel

and the plaid/studded hipster.

It felt good to not only style and accessorize but to be in front of the camera once again. Modeling has always been a passion of mine since my younger days in New York and I must say it brings me life to pose and strut again on the runway.

The fabulous and talented Tichina Arnold dominates the latest cover of BE Mag Holiday issue and is also casted in TV Land's sitcom "Happily Divorced" also featuring another 90's sitcom love Fran from The Nanny. 

 

You probably recognize Tichina (@TichinaArnold) or Pam from the hilarious and memorable show "Martin" and "Everybody Hates Chris". Tichina herself is recently married and sat down with BE (@BEMagazine) to talk about career longevity and her sister's fight against Lupus.
