Are you ready? I've been creating royal pieces for my lines fall/winter 2013 collection as well as some for clients. Constructing custom pieces, handmade clothing, accessories and tailoring looks. It's amazing to see a vision form into real life! 

I had the pleasure of styling a shoot with Nik_Gold Designs in DC for actress Adunni Ade earlier this month and styled one here in Atlanta with my multi talented friend and NGD model Angel with one of my favorite photographers David Sincere. 

I styled my customized cheetah two piece set along with a few of my new handmade and customized pieces. I can't wait for my next photo shoot and to release the rest of my creations! Covering one of my favorite artists and friends @DimitriMcDowell he teams up with @MrNewEra13 to make a superbly covered "B**** Don't Kill My Vibe" , filmed on spring break in Panama. They put their own unique vibe and mesmerizing lyrics on the song and made it theirs!

The other night just cruising through Atlanta I spotted a video shoot taking place at a well known downtown studio. When I pulled up one of the Love Hip Hop husbands to Rasheeda mentioned me to join the event. So with that notion I did, at first as an extra but when I felt the need to put more Nik_Gold Designs into it for accessories and styling. I promptly networked and made my way to the dressing room to put in work. The photo shoot lasted until in the morning but I left knowing I had classes super early which was a disappoint but fueled me to do more while I was on set. Life of a college student, business owner, worker and journalist. Juggling a busy schedule but nothing is going to stop my drive or creativity. Let's work.

More Than A Resolution!

2012 has been some year. Words cannot even explain it. I have grown and watched the world change rapidly around me. As long as I have been alive I have the same two qualities I'd love to hate, actually I'm pretty sure I hate both. That's why I'm making a change, more than a resolution but a positive change for the betterment of my life.

Between situations changing rapidly and more and more people I know just leaving Earth without notice I know how precious this life we have is. Honestly, the present is a present and people take it for granted *raises hand* I do too.

Between procrastinating and the depressing feeling of contentment and over thinking or stressing over the  BS life throws your way from time to time, one of the quicksand potholes will have you preaching "Tomorrow is a new day" instead of "Just do it" or "Now is the time!"

I realized this life is a blank canvas, every second and experience we have paints our canvas and makes it dense with intensity, lessons and the true stains of life. I'm ready for the journey and truly tired of being tired. Sleep is the cousin of death and procrastination is the devil whispering in your ear.

Snapped a quick photo of me at my first official fitting for @BEmagazine @nwhTROIS fashion show. I opted for a chill yet classy look on the brisk November night. 

I absolutely love my pointy toe highlighter heels. I'm used to wearing heels higher than 4" but I still felt very girly in this number!

I love patterns, so this trend of big bold prints does me justice along with a beautiful colored skinny jeans and point heel shoe with my own Nik_Gold Accessories and a sharp middle part bob.

June Ambrose is one of my favorite stylist! Famous for reinventing Luther Vandross' image she is not only amazing and strong willed with her raspy voice and easy- secure style but she has styled celebrities from Jay Z and Chrisette Michele to Diddy and Mariah Carey. She even has her own website thejuniverse.com

She recently was the featured stylist on The X Factor and now she has her own show on VH1 called, Styled by June. 

One of my former classmates Aubrey Jackson totally put me on and though I rarely get to catch a television show continuously I can't wait to catch up on and enjoy. I know I will love it!

Smells Summer Baked to me!

Summer is almost over (for me at least) and I must say Ive done a lot.. In Georgia at least. I partied chilled, slept over, had people sleep over, did mad college stuff (and is currently still mourning on the fact that Oprah is not trying to help a sister afford Howard) so Valdosta I go, though I did enjoy the dorm waiting list. I got drunk...? high? nah....umm lol But i most definetly had fun whatever I got into got so much clothes and more coming for freshman year but Ill be regs. cause there is no best dressed in college (But I cant help it!).

Nik_gold has learned to be a little more ascertive and directed through her sisters current situation she has learned to take no bs and is still learning not to let ignorant nincumpoops run over me (this is only extended towards friends who do to00o much) .

Ive grown closer to the Lord and most definetely feel blessed and as a direct encouragement on life. Im listening to the Howards lil affinity music for their freshmans |=( ugh!!

But anywho I can't wait until school starts. I know im going to get home sick and miss Miley but Im ready for it, Im ready to meet new people to be put in situations and land on top, to earn and develop my own grown women mentality and independence. Im ready to get back to dancing while staying focused on school work and getting my car in MARCH. That is all I want from my father.. Its too late for him to be a dad to me, I trully believe and in March too late for him for him to help me financially and my mom is apparently okay with that, i just want that car!!

I also need these micros outt!! I dont see myself starting the epitomy of adult life (college!!) with 3 month old threatening to become mini-dread micros! I need a texturizer, I want/need to be even more exotic and ecletic in the best way from everyone my age and at any moment in time. Im not going to be in the same mindset as other freshmans unless theyre talking about money, connections and future adventures.

Im ready, willing and able!
