Dance X Style X SYTYCD

I LIVE!

Dancing and style are two of my favorite things (well aside for food). I have been catching up with SYTYCD when I find the time and found two pieces of dance and style close to my heart.

The first one is Ke$ha themed (stylist/artist) I've been following for years (who is now working with American Apparel ) mixed with Lady Gaga's quirky dancer/choreographer Mark and a bit of a MIA feel. The style is sharp, dancing a bit avant-garde and even a tad drag. You know I love a splash of G0ld with everything! Check out this out of the world routine below!

The second piece is with my favorite dancer of the season, Jasmine along with Amy. They are both so sharp and distinctive in their movement. Let's not skip these costumes!!! With one of my favorite songs "The Diva Dance" from my favorite movie "The Fifth Element" the choreographer captures the novelty and uniqueness of sound. As a stylist I would have done white or blue asymmetrical wigs instead of mere black ones. However, the piece is beautiful, awkward, modelesque and attention capturing. Enjoy!

Are you ready? I've been creating royal pieces for my lines fall/winter 2013 collection as well as some for clients. Constructing custom pieces, handmade clothing, accessories and tailoring looks. It's amazing to see a vision form into real life! 

I had the pleasure of styling a shoot with Nik_Gold Designs in DC for actress Adunni Ade earlier this month and styled one here in Atlanta with my multi talented friend and NGD model Angel with one of my favorite photographers David Sincere. 

I styled my customized cheetah two piece set along with a few of my new handmade and customized pieces. I can't wait for my next photo shoot and to release the rest of my creations! Big Sean X Jhene Aiko X Kendrick Lamar X Naya Rivera

I like this new Big Sean.  On "Beware" Big Sean collaborates with rhythmic and angelic voiced Jhene Aiko again. I've heard some recent news that Big Sean's new album is going to be crazy. After hearing "Control" with Kendrick and Jay Electronica I might give to a chance. It sparked a twitter war over KDots controversial and honest lyrics. One of my good friends Angel is a magician at culinary arts. Angel is originally from New Orleans, she went to school for culinary arts and has had numerous chef experience. She has been baking basically all her life. When I'm out with Angel some part of the evening is going to include food or she will end up whipping up some magic. Every dish is flavorful and made with love. She has opened up her own business and I couldn't be more proud of her watching her grow as a chef! Have an event, baby shower or party coming up?

Entertaining Group TGT

Three interesting videos below, the TGT music video for "Sex never Felt Better", hilarious performance on talk show "The Couch" and a 105.1 interview with group TGT. 

Tank, Ginuwine and Tyrese. These three powerhouse singers sound so good! I heard their song "Sex Never Felt Better" months ago and decided to post the funny performance along with their interview with the breakfast club. Personality, looks and pure talent I hope they to stick around for a while because their type of R&B is missing in the industry. Also in the interview why is Tank so funny?!? With that charisma and smile no wonder he has 4 kids.

Jade Novah X Show Out X Stay Music Video

I had the pleasure of meeting amazing songstress and soulful personality Jade Novah at the BE annual toasting event!

Jade has been a special artist BE Magazine has covered. I first spotted her in her cover for Rihanna's Stay that received over a million in views. I was captivated by her uniqueness, style, full and majestic voice and Broadway style of singing. It's almost as if she can fill a room with her personality alone and then her voice takes over.

Listen to her new song "Show Out" It definitely gets you pumped up, flipping that hair and a little two step! You can't help but appreciate her vocal delivery in her music. It's filled with energy, passion and an honest calling to sing her lungs out!

Also my favorite video and vocals in "Stay" I love the A-line skirt in the kitchen scene. YES mam!
