WYCLEF FOR PRESIDENT: Huh?

Wyclef has announced Tuesday that he will be running for President of his native land, HAITI.

Not only has he been an endorsor of Haiti but he is constantly giving back to the land he is from and is very popular amoung his people.

BUT... (you knew it was coming), can this Black Eyed Peas, producer, singer, song writer really become a president?

Yes, he is smart, well endowed ($$$), has great commercials and has connections, but can he be the "Obama" of Haiti?
Can Wyclef do all that he says can be done and turn the abandoned country of Haiti to what it could, should and would be?

Only time will tell, and who can be a judge? Another black man trying his best to improve the garbage like predicaments around him.

Hopefully after René Préval Wyclef will be a successful youthful president ! they might evenhave a new anthem! Ft Black Eyed Peas...

The beloved lip ring I got on a whim and decided to keep in is officially out.

Im only blogging this detailed moment in my life because I got the lip ring when
I went through a change. Im not talking about a sex change or anything drastic, nasty !

But a change through my personality.
And what all facial piercings seem to say, "I Don't give a flying F@#?!"
Mine said twice over and translated into all languages.
My mom hated it and some of my friends stayed quiet about it, but I got it for me.
An individualized statement because Im always constantly, changing... progressing.

How the hell ever, when I got the actual lip ring hoop, it got more attention than me
and if you don't know my face is not competing with a foreign object,
ESPECIALLY when my eyes get most of the attention.

It's funny I feel like it was a decoration I can easily make up for by adding another bangle to my set.
My lip ring is a reflection of a crazy phrase I went through my second semester, my first year in college.

If you can believe my second semester was harder to adjust to then my first.
Not until I decide to change my hair color, style or some other aspect of me that can not be easily reveresed.

Shoes run my life literally. If it wasnt for my moms obsession for Payless when I was younger I might have not developed the loathing feeling I have with low end shoes.

Not trying to down play the profit Payless brings in yearly but considering style and value options Payless is not known for having a squeaky clean record.

I indulged myself when I was younger into finding out about shoes, shoe collaborations and which shoes made big side feet, ducked the Banana Boat feet at daycamp, look way smaller, until I would finally grow into them.

There was a problem however, I was also tall for my age and standing out in the Big Bird was not my idea of stepping up my "shoe game".

Little did I know God had a plan for me not to grow and inch after I turned 16 years old.

Now standing a gigantic 5'5 I adorn my weekly pedicured feet (even if I do it and only because it's time, come on, Im halfway to 19, step that woman game up) with heels, which I have grown unusually comfortable in thanks to numerous modeling jobs and my short height inching its way to tallness.

Only when I wore the noncheap-pricedwell quality heels of course.
