I love this video of Jay Z and Justin Timberlake, "Holy Grail". It was clean yet innovative the way they switched it up. Very Nice.

Dedicated to Chris Brown heading to long term rehab for attacking a photo bomber is his new video with Nicki Minaj. I could watch this video on mute and just watch him dance actually.

My favorite new song has the weirdest video but I don't care I still love the song and Lorde's quirky feel.

Interview with Singer X Songwriter @DimitriMcDowell

I have had the pleasure of growing up with many talented and humble individuals in my life. One especially is 20 year old music genius Dimitri McDowell from Queens, New York. We grew up and attended Camp Joharie in upstate New York and Bethel church right in Jamaica, Queens together for years and he was always been an inspiration to me! 

Recently, I've gotten a chance to rekindle our friendship and learn more about his journey in the music business. Below is my interview with Dimitri discussing his life, point of view and road to success.

What's your name and birthday?

- Dimitri McDowell - December 23 1992

What/who inspired your music?

- I was young, singing and rapping was my passion and thats all I knew how to do, then I got into poetry but never was up front about it. I struggled with a terrible speech impediment since I was four, and getting teased and made fun of was second nature to me and always brought me in a depression as well as low self esteem. I began writing my feelings down in a note book when I was in 6th grade, and my principle at the time found my notebook lying around somewhere and she called me in an office and expressed that it was a beautiful feeling and she wanted me to say the poem at a christmas concert as well as dance and lip sing to a old song "Donnie McClurkin - Walking In Authority". My father started taking me to diffrent places to perform such as the Apollo, in which I won several times, McDonalds Gospelfest, Knick Poetry Slam, diffrent churches and venues. From then, I continued to write, sing, and dance and it served as a form of relief and it began to go with the emotions I have at that moment. Growing up, as I began to create more songs and poetry and perform it everywhere, I wanted to take this as a life long dream and become a mainstream artist and a songwriter, I believed I can because my music was good and I knew I can make it. A lot of people wouldnt take me serious and continue to clown my stutter but that didnt stop me. My insipration came directly from God and my close family and friends. I plan to take my parents and my family out of our situations and where we live, and bring them to a bigger and better life.

Chris Brown X Rihanna are two creative individuals who are doing their art and don't give AF as they rightfully should.

When I was told Chris Brown would be the main love interest I thought I would at least see his face. I guess his features and tattoos are enough to suit.

I've marinated with the song and absolutely love it while the video leaves me in a trance. Pretty tranquil and positive vibes. Enjoy and shine bright*

Are You Surprised? Chris X Rihanna X Karrueche

 

It has been blatantly obvious Chris and Rihanna are getting back together or in my opinion Young, Wild, Free and in love. There was a time when they were undercover giving people, (their fans and media) a chance to get over it and apparently now they just don't give any more fruit baskets.

I have no idea what Karrueche has been doing especially after Rihanna's infamous "Cake" remix came out, after pictures of them together surfaced, Chris and Rihanna sleep overs blasted in every magazine, after the 2012 awards show where she was disrespected and ignored, hell after THE OPRAH INTERVIEW!

Leave! Be a woman about yours, always.

I'd advise any female to never be the "other woman" "third party" or "last man out" and to open your own eyes and leave before you get hurt and dumped but of course we don't know all of it. From the looks of it and after watching Chris's video you get a better perspective and it is everything I thought it was.

One of the realest moments you will probably ever see, and you can only imagine the bitterness Karrueche is feeling and confusion Chris is going through while Rihanna is there being who she is. His unofficial lover.

Ahhh that sweet pungent smell of love!

Apparently Kouche didn't see nor want to see the signs and now this media coverage is going to be crazy until the next big thing blows between the soul mates and the abandoned rebound lover.

Lol.” So I saw this tweet and I retweeted it adding, “You spelled “punching” wrong.” Obviously in reference to that fact that Brown was arrested in 2009 for assaulting his then girlfriend Rihanna.

But now in the light of day, I’d like to apologize to Chris Brown and to his fans that are known as ‘Team Breezy.’ To Mr. Brown, I apologize for referencing the fact that you beat the crap out of Rihanna. It was disrespectful of me to draw attention to the fact that you put your girlfriend in the hospital. [People in the background laughing] And further, it was not my place to make people remember that you beat a woman with your fists, leaving her with multiple facial contusions, a bloody nose, and a split lip. I know that now.

I also appreciate the fact that you tweeted me, letting me know that children conduct themselves better than I do. You are correct, and I could only hope to one day mature to the point where I can conduct myself in a more adult manner. Possibly by throwing a chair out of a window and storming out of a building with my shirt off. [Laughter] I ask only for your patience.

To Team Breezy I would also like to say that I’m sorry. Thank you for your thousands of tweets which taught me a lot about the creative possibilities of spelling, grammar, and syntax.  Possibilities I couldn’t even imagine before last night. In particular I’d like to thank the female members of Team Breezy, who have taught me that as long as you can sing, you can beat the living hell out of a woman and other women will still love you.

And lastly, I apologize to everyone for using Twitter to subtly address the fact that I think it’s disgusting that a guy who put his girlfriend can, a mere two years later, be warmly welcomed back into society and appear on shows such as Saturday Night Live, as if everything he did magically never happened. It won’t happen again.”

Kim K and the clan are popular enough on Blogs but these updos are a good look for relaxed and natural styles, definetely something viewers and fellow fashionistas should put their own twist on this fall! BTW I love the Kardashian show but I can't seem to become an addict this season... I wonder why. =/

Solange Knowles is easily becoming own of my favorite fashion forward celebrities on the scene. Not only has she dubbed herself out under Beyonces' younger sister role and have been doing her own thing but she actually gained a couple minutes more of fame because of her vibrance, great fashion/stylist combos and versatility when it comes to fashion.

If you don't know.... You know now, Chris Brown is back on the scene, proving you cannot hold back true talent. I am not a groupie Chris Brown fan but he seems to emulate Kanye West when it comes to trying something new when he is not on his leather man jacket and cargo appeal.
